Quinta da Cima Golf Course - Algarve18 holes Par 72 – 6256 Metres Quinta da Cima, sister course to Quinta da Ria, was designed by Rocky Roquemore and opened in 2002. This 18 holes golf course is a formidable test of golf and a truly exceptional challenge. Quinta da Cima offers fantastic, spectacular views of both the ocean and Algarve mountains. Although a new addition to the Algarve, the course has a mature feeling with the presence of Olive, carob and orange tree’s, It is also surrounded by vineyards and maintains the typicism of the regions landscape. The 18 holes are skilfully designed, with dog-legs to the left and right, with greens well protected by bunkers and lakes. Hazzards are definately very much in play on all holes. Cleverly located bunkers or water hazards, which come in the form of lakes, streams and ditches, await you on most holes. Quinta da Cima is technically more demanding than Quinta da Ria, but is very enjoyable. Rocky Roquemore has used higher elevations for the tees and greens, which makes this a visually stunning course to play. Well designed and in a beautiful setting, this golf course already plays well despite its tender age. Facilities include: Driving range, golf academy, putting green, pro-shop, snack bar in the clubhouse, locker rooms.
