A Lusotur is investing 18 million euros in Victoria Clube de Golf's new golf course. This is the most ambitious golf project in Portugal, and is aimed at being one of the best golf complexes in the whole of Europe.

The Victoria Clube de Golf will be the fifth at Vilamoura and the most exclusive one at the resort, making it ideal to become the Algarve's and Portugal's major venue for top international golf tournaments.

The famous course architect Arnold Palmer whose design company has planned some 500 layouts worldwide, has compiled this fantastic course. The course boasts one extraordinary fact concerning the greens, and that is that all 18 are completely different in their shape, size and gradient.

There are several man-made lakes that will provide hazards for the players and also serve as water reservoirs for irrigation. The course was specially designed with a view to providing sustainable residential development within the natural surroundings, whilst benefiting from magnificent ocean views from the entire complex.
